Practical Info
Where to stay
The venue is very close to the centre of town, only a short tram/taxi ride away, so there are plenty of options for hotels.
For ease, we'd recommend anything near the central station, and a few options include:
- Clarion Hotel Post
- Hotel Eggers
- Radisson Blu Scandinavia
- Scandic Göteborg Central
Of course there's always Airbnb
Other options
For those of you willing to rough it, there is an STF Hostel at Stigberget I'm told isn't so bad.
Anyone thinking of vanning there's a campsite in town with a banging buffet breakfast, and tram access to the centre.

Getting Here
For those of you coming from England, we've found the best option is often to take a train to Edinburgh and fly direct to Gothenburg from there.
Then there's often direct flights from Manchester and London, and another option we're about to try out at christmas is to fly direct Newcastle to Copenhagen and take the train from there (around 3.5hrs). Of course it all depends on the schedules available, and often there are transfers in Amsterdam.
Bus transfers go every 15-20 mins from the airport to central station (Nils Ericsson Terminal), called Flygbussen, and it is easiest to just run out the airport and see if there's a bus waiting. Then you can just pay on there instead of buying the tickets inside and maybe missing the transfer.
Of course you could always take the greener route and ride the rails, or pedal your way here. Don't think anyone has swam here yet....
Getting Around
We'll provide transport between the ceremony venue and Spike Brewery earlier in the day, and there are close to public transport links, and/or taxis, which run all night so you'll be able to get yourselves back whenever you tire of having too much fun.
We'll update this page with more specific details on getting around with public transport and maybe a few extra things you might like to see and do in the city closer to the time.
